After suffering through wearing a hard, kydex holster that left her bruised and sore, and finding no suitable substitute, Can Can founder Darlene Cary designed a holster to conform to her body comfortably and work with her wardrobe while securing her sidearm. Her extensive background as an award winning costume designer and proficient seamstress enabled her to design an accessory of self defense with fashion sense!

After showing her invention to a few friends who expressed wanting one of their own, she quickly realized that other women shared her holster frustration and Can Can Concealment was born!

Darlene found herself with more orders than she could sew for herself and enlisted her church friends to help fulfill orders out of her garage. Fast forward to 2016 and Can Can Concealment currently employs 17 employees in a 3800 square foot manufacturing headquarters.
